How to apply for a Chain Authorization

If you want to authorize a company to act on behalf of your own organization, you can do so by issuing a Chain Authorization. How to issue a new Chain Authorization, is different depending on the situation. These are listed below.

How to issue a Chain Authorization if you're an Authorization Manager

1. Log on to My Reconi
2. Click 'Chain Authorizations' and select 'Chain Authorizations Issued'.
3. A new screen will appear, in which you can select 'Request new chain authorizations' on the bottom of the page:


How to issue a Chain Authoirziation if you're not registered with Reconi



If you're not registered with us, you can apply for a Chain Authorization without the need to apply for your own eHerkenning. An temporary account will be created in which you can track the status of your application, which is removed upon us processing the application. To start an application, please click here.

How to issue a Chain Authorization through your existing eHerkenning, or on behalf of your client


If you already have an eHerkenning, or if you want to apply on behalf of a Client, please follow the steps below. 

1. Log on to My Reconi
2. Click 'My Account' and select 'My Authorizations'.
3. Please select 'request new chain authorization' on the bottom of the screen:
