What an Authorization manager?
The management module available to Authorization managers, shows a digital overview of all issued eHerkenning means, authorizations and assurance levels within the organization(s) you're the authorization manager for.

As an authorization manager, you can easily renew, add and cancel authorizations. In addition to these possibilities, you are also authorized to issue eHerkenning to others within your organization, without the neccesity of directors signing any forms. However, If you want to become an Authorization manager, it's always neccesary for the legal representatives to sign a Registration form.

What is the management module useful for?
If you are and remain the only one with eHerkenning within your organization, the management module is not necessary. However, if there are more people who have eHerkenning within your organization, the convenience of an Authorization Manager having the overview of all users, and the ability to create users, can come in handy. The administrator has access to an overview of users, and can easily create eHerkenning users when onboarding new employees or terminate eHerkenning when someone exits the company.

How do I see if I am an administrator on behalf of an organization?
If you are an administrator, after logging into My Reconi you will see a number of additional options, being 'management' and 'chain authorizations':
