We use the identity documents to verify that the authorized representative specified matches the information on the Chamber of Commerce extract or other valid authorisation documents. This check helps to prevent fraud and ensures that your application is processed correctly and securely. Verification is always based on a valid identity document.

Protecting this information prevents the unnecessary dissemination of privacy-sensitive information. The Data Protection Authority advises, for example, that the BSN should only be shared when legally necessary.
